Trey has been the primary Water Resource and Utility Engineer for the development of The Villages® of Lake Sumter and has been integral to the implementation of the design-build procurement process for its water and wastewater plants for the last 20 years.

The Villages® is an age-restricted development that currently has a residential population of approximately 120,000 people and is the largest single-site residential development in the country.

Trey has more than 25 years of experience working in Environmental Engineering. He started his career with CH2M HILL and later joined The Villages® of Lake Sumter where he served as the key Project Manager and Utility Engineer for 10 years. Currently, Trey is the President and Principal Engineer of Arnett Environmental and in his current role, he continues to work very closely with The Villages® and is responsible for the oversight and management on behalf of the utility owners for 4 wastewater plants, 11 water plants, and numerous irrigation pump stations for a golf course complex that contains 636 holes. Trey will share with us his experience with collaborative models as they apply to small projects.

Trey holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering and is a Registered Professional Engineer in Florida.
